When a wind, solar, hydro, or geothermal power plant produces 1 MWh of electricity, exactly 1 REC is created
Anyone who uses 1 MWh of electricity can retire that REC. When that happens, they’ve officially used that energy.
AP & G verify, purchase, and retire RECs for the energy you use at home or your office. So you know you are helping the environment.
